Tips for Balding and Bald Men: Use Beard Trimmers on Head

Yeah, that's right ALL of your hair. Beard trimmers are the most important beauty and grooming product for males ever made. You can cut your facial hair to make long sideburns, goatees, fumanchus, whatever style of facial hair you can think of really (if you can grow it). You can even cut your own hair with them. Usually beard trimmers come with many different attachments that can give you varied lengths so you can give yourself professional looking buzz cuts for free.

I like to keep my hair pretty short and with a beard trimmer I never need to go to the barber or some fancy hair salon to get the cut I want. To cut your own hair on your head you can use one length to go over the whole head, then you can follow up on the neck and sideburns with a slightly smaller length to go for the tapered look. You can actually do it pretty easily with a bathroom mirror and handheld mirror to see what you are doing on the back of your head. If you think this sounds funny, it's not, millions of guys from around the world cut their own hair. After all it is pretty easy if you are going for a short cut.

If you are already thinning on top, do yourself a favor:

1. Get over it. It is after all in your DNA, you did not lose your hair from wearing a baseball cap or some other silly reason. It is nothing you did, it was just the way the cards were dealt. Losing your hair when you are young sucks and at times it can cause internal pain from hurtful women or their comments, but as you get older you will notice that many of the males around you or that grew up with you are bald too (it does make you feel better).
2. Stop doing the comb-over or the ridiculous comb forward "a la Spock" look. You can't hide it brother, so just cut it short and wear the style with pride. If you need inspiration look no further than your TV or your favorite sports team, where a large percentage of dudes (yeah, they have money, I'll give you that) are bald. Hiding your baldness does not work and just draws more attention to it.
3. Get a Beard Trimmer and take matters into your own hands. If you are currently rocking the comb-over or another concealment style wait till you go on vacation or another time when you can return to work with your new style (this will cool down the comments made by coworkers and friends, if they have not seen you in awhile maybe they won't even notice).

4. Stop throwing away your money on Hair Growth Products. This is a losing proposition my friend, you know it and I know it. The day they come out with a miracle drug that you take one time and your hair comes back and stays- I will be right in line with you. Until that day comes, trying to keep what you have will cost you dearly- just do the math on the cost and time throughout your life. If you are young and single and still have a bunch of hair on your head, I will give you a pass and say go for the Rogaine and whatever works for you until you get married- then do the smart thing and let nature take it's course.
